Reporting to the Global Head of Benefits, you will be responsible for assisting and planning the day-to-day operations of the company’s US group benefits plan. (Group health, Dental, Vision, short-term, long-term disability, voluntary benefits, heath savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, retirement plans, etc.),
THE CHALLENGE
- Oversee day-to-day administration of all aspects of the employee benefits program, including medical, dental, vision, flexible spending, life insurance, disability, employee assistance and wellness.
- Oversee all day-to-day administration of qualified retirement plans such as 401k.
- Partner with brokers, carriers and third-party administrators to ensure high-quality service delivery, timely issue resolution, and cost-effective plan design.
- Plans, coordinates, and executes annual benefits enrollment.
- Assists with legally required audits, filing and testing for all health benefits and retirement plans. Strong working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, ERISA, ACA and HIPAA regulations.
- Assists in preparation and maintenance of all summary plan descriptions and summaries of material modifications for all benefit plans. Develops and delivers engaging benefit communications and education initiatives that improve employee understanding and participation in all health benefits and wellness initiatives.
- Supports all retirement plan administration, including payroll file management, nondiscrimination testing, compliance and employee education.
- Identifies, develops, and implements process enhancements to streamline benefit administration, enrollment and reporting functions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail and organizational ability, effective communication skills, commitment to confidentiality and data integrity, strategic thinker and continuous improvement mindset.
YOUR PROFILE
- 5+ years of direct experience administering benefit plans.
- Bachelor´s degree in HRM/Business Administration or related field is beneficial but not required
- In-depth understanding of health and welfare plans, retirement plan administration, and related regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Workday), SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Able to lead change management, and experience building, maintaining and effectively influencing internal stakeholder relationships
- Understand the importance of linking HR strategy to organizational strategy
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in delivering complex benefits concepts
