UNIT OVERVIEW:
- Sportradar’s Sports Performance group has built its success on proprietary technology which links meaningful sports data and video clips to create visual statistics and analytics about players, teams, and specific games. This technology improves how coaches and scouts utilize data and analytics to develop winning team strategies through development, scouting and recruiting. To assist with this and further our product offering, we help capture and produce video content and statistics for elite level amateur events throughout the country.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
- Due to exciting growth here at Sportradar, we are looking for an Elite Youth Amateur Sports Coordinator to help improve our product offering for our Grassroots & Amateur Sports division.
THE CHALLENGE:
As an Elite Youth Amateur Sports Coordinator, you will be part of the team and help manage the planning, end-to-end capture and distribution of elite level amateur sport events throughout the United States.
The challenge includes:
- Manage and monitor shipping/logistics of grassroots equipment
- Maintain/upkeep, organize, and inventory all grassroots equipment
- Assist in overall event operations for all grassroots events, tournaments, and games
- Serve as an on-site lead for certain grassroots events and tournaments
- Assist in the hiring of independent contractors and camera operators
- Coordinate event scheduling and travel for statisticians, Production Assistants and camera operators
- Oversee remote event stream monitoring and troubleshooting staff
- Data aggregation of rosters, schedules and results for grassroots events and games
- Data scrubbing of grassroots events and games in our database
- Special Projects – complete special projects as needed and as assigned by supervisor
YOUR PROFILE:
- The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years of professional experience and additional experience working in the sports industry, preferably with direct experience in the amateur basketball and/or baseball/softball space.
- Computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience and familiarity with camera equipment as well as video/live streaming production.
- Experience with creating new and managing existing relationships.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on being detail oriented.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to understand and articulate complex concepts.
- Availability to work weekends and evenings during event peak periods.
